This is a 1931 Dodge 16 Foot Runabout, Split Cockpit, in pristine condition and includes a cover and trailer.The boat is a Rare Dodge runabout, cousin to the Dodge water car. Hull Number 16-A79. She was garaged in California for 15+ years. In 2007, the boat was moved to McCall, Idaho and kept in covered storage.In 2010-2011, McCall Boat Works (www.mccallboatworks.com) began the "restorative/detail finishes" work on the boat.She is fresh out of the clean room and ready for a new owner. This Dodge is an excellent example of an A+ un-molested boat. The engine is in excellent working order, as well. The boat received an all new bottom in 1997.In 2010-2011 the boat received a complete re-fasten of the top deck, sides and bottom. The boat also received all new finishes to include new stain, new bottom paint, new water lines and a beautiful new varnish job (x12) to complete its' new face lift.The Lycoming 4 cylinder Marine engine was thoroughly checked out and tuned where needed. It is a 40 horse power engine. It is in excellent working order.In 2010-2011, she also received new upholstery (Boise Car Upholstery), new flooring, new throttle lever (Al Shinnerer) and a new cut water (JD Thorpe). The boat has all of the original chrome to include the beautiful nymph sea plate and original glass globe on the flag pole. Each chrome trim piece was replated. Rub rails were buffed and shined.
