1990 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Vanagon GL Relisting - Please Read the auction before you bid Up for sale is my 1990 vw vanagon. I purchased this van about 1 1/2 years ago and started redoing as much of it as I could myself. The inside has new carpet, the side panels have been recovered in a black vinyl, some of the plastic parts on the dash when I bought it were spray painted orange - i have repainted those black. I replaced the front and back bumpers, Brand new tires, The transmission was going in it when I bought it so a newer used transmission was put into it ( I have the original trans that gos with it, so if you want it let me know). I have spent aprox $5,000 on it. The van stopped running right before winter and I don't know why. It has been sitting in my driveway ever since. I don't have the money to have someone look at it or fix it at this point, I will be moving in a few months and need to sell it to a good home, someone who can fix it up the rest of the way and get it running. The van is sold AS-IS, Where-IS. I am not a repair person, I don't know anything about engines or anything else to do with vehicles, so I will try to answer your questions to the best of my ability. Vanagon is so AS-IS there is no warranty, seller is not responsible for any repairs, etc. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of vehicle. Vehicle must be picked up within 1 week of auction end. $200.00 deposit due at auction end with remainder due in cash upon pickup.
