*******3 DAY AUCTION******* MOVIE CAR---- FROM THE MOVIE " SHELTER " Filmed in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1997 This car was the stunt double painted up to match the "Star Car " a 1972 Mustang Sprint. This car was used in many scenes in the movie and at the end of the movie it took 6 bullet holes to the windshield, They started to run the car in the Arkansas River but at the last minute changed plans to shoot it, thank goodness!!!!! Look closely at pics, the passenger seat back shows "SHELTER MOVIE CAR " and appears that the driver side seat had the same writing in it but was cut out possibly for memorabillia for someone...... I have put up a link to the website so you can click onto it and read ALL about the car. Now about the car this is a 1971 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback, body code 05-- originally a "F" code 302 engine with a standard transmission, ( THIS DOES NOT HAVE THE MOTOR OR TRANS,.... EVERYTHING ELSE THERE AND COMPLETE.......PLEASE CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS) Body on car is straight and has only minor bondo in it, the passenger front fender some on the side of it and rear quarter panel just behind the wheel well. Car has usual rust areas, needs floor pans, lower rear sections of quarter panels and slight bit at lower rear corners of doors, strut cross member has rust but I have a good one that goes with the car. All of the glass is good....LOL except windshield. Frame rails and torque boxes are good and clean. KEEP in mind this was a quick paint job they did for this car for the movie and is peeling and flaking so be prepared for alot of sanding and paint stripping.
