NO RESERVE AUCTION1957 Metropolitan Convertible - straight solid body - the battery box has rusted thru the bottom but unbolts and is flat metal that can easily be fabricated / replaced - all parts for these cars are available on the Internet - this car has the rare "1954 hood piece" on the front - the car is complete less the interior door panels, glove box door, rear bottom of seat and convertible top material - comes with the top bows, two extra wheels, a box of miscelaneous door handles and window cranks. This 54 year old car shows only 3603 miles on the odometer - there's really no way of knowing the exact miles this car has driven. There is no title for this car and it's out of the California DMV computer records so the buyer will need to use this eBay auction as proof of purchase when they go to their local DMV to register it. The vehicle is not running and has been sitting for several years. It's ready to be restored. These cars were only made from 1953 to 1961, with the hood on this car ( 1954 ) only being made for a short time.
