Vehicle Detail
1970 Ford F-100. Great shape and very dependable. Has 302 engine with 3speed manual trans. Lot of new items (listed below). It does have some small rust areas that are easily fixed. Over all very solid truck. Needs dash cover due to cracks in dash. There is also some denting on the rear side of the bed (picture attached). This truck needs nothing to be a good everyday driver. A nice paint job would make it a real head turner. Runs great, no oil leaks, smoke or blowby. Anyone who knows old Fords know they are notorious for having more than a half turn of play in the steering. Not this one less than 2" of free travel which is about what it was new. Has manual stering and manual brakes. New items: New dual exhaust with turbo tube mufflers (nice rumble). New tire onf front, rear tires 75%. New shocks all four corners. New 3 speed floor shifter. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing, fly wheel surfaced. Recent tune up with new plug, wires, cap, rotor, chrome breather and oil change. New fuel pump and mastercylinder. I have had this truck for about 6 months and all work has been done since I got the truck. As far as I know it is mostly original other than above work. The seat in the truck is original, has no rips, tears or bad places. In the picture of the seat, the plastic you can see is the original plastic cover that has never been removed. Opening bid is as low as I will go, this is great truck and needs nothing to be a daily driver. Dont miss out on this great truck. Hard to find a 1970 Ford truck in this condition for the opening price. Very tight. I was also surprised at the gas milage of this truck. It gets me around 16-17 MPG which is great for a full size truck. Better MPG than my 02 Dodge. I wont relist it again. If it doesnt sell this time I will keep it. Way to nice of a truck to give away. I would consider trades for Sport touring motorcycle like Kawasaki Concours or Triumph Sprint.
