Vehicle Detail
1955 Chevy 3100 pickup. 1st series/early series looks like a 54 but it is a 55. 6 cyl, three on the tree. Rock solid all original North Carolina farm pickup with a clear NC title. This is a running and driving vehicle. All there. Not one of those projects where there is no engine etc or a puzzle you have to find everything and put it back together. Easy resto, everything can be ordered right out of the catalogs for these trucks. Comes with an extra fender and new emblems. New fp and the carb was just rebuilt after pics were taken. Lights work, guages work although not too accurate. Have a new speedo cable for it. Truck is solid as stated, floors are good (except for one small hole passenger side as seen in pic), fire wall good, body good etc, take a magnet all around. Only one small spot of filler in between the drivers door and fender, that's it! Underneath has surface rust but nothing major. A sheet metal piece was put in the bed but the wood is underneath. Needs resto or drive as is. Grill was mounted as seen in pics. Truck is over 50 years old as a reminder to some ,it's not new. Glass is good except for passenger vent has cracks and drivers side too. Neat truck to play with. Email questions or call (914)967-3219, no calls after 9pm est thanks. Lots of pics too. Truck is sold as is and for sale locally so auction can end early. The last pic shows what it could look like when done. stock or rodded it's your choice! and yes 55 ford pickup in pic is for sale too, 16K firm, needs nothing... The spotlight was on for the owner to check his cows no joke, and he had to get the hay in one more time before he would sell it....
