1973 AMX .Very rare 360 4 speed in (Fresh Plum) is the AMC color but is purple to the eye. The car has had primer sprayed over it years ago, black interior. power steering Holly 4bbl(the carb needs some TLC from not being driven). The car is complete and runs and drives but has been sitting for a few years until this week.. I have only driven the car in the yard and would not put it on the road until the brakes are checked. The 4 speed seems to work fine and still has the origional Hurst shifter, runs good with no smoke and seems to have a small lift cam.The car has a new battey and two new front tires. The glass is all there with no cracks but the pasenger quarter glass is not installed. The dash, door panels and interior trim is Very Nice with no cracks and all dash knobs are there. The headliner is also in great shape. The car has the origional seats - the fronts need recovered but have slip covers on them now, the rear has no rips or tears. The grill and front bumper and headlight trim are in Great Condition. The rear bumper is straight and the pads look good but is showing some rust. The trunk lid and spoiler are in great condition. Doors and door jams are solid and the trunk lid and spolier are great. Now the Bad--- The starter needs to be replaced- it cranks the car but sounds bad. The front floor pans and one of the rear floor pans need to be replaced- they can be purchased on Ebay for $60 a pair. The rear floor pan on the drivers side also needs to be replaced $60 on Ebay. The rocker panels need to be replaced $49 a pair on Ebay. Both quater panels need a patch panel and the trunk pan needs repair or replaced. The pan is also avaliablr on Ebay for around $200. The hood has had some underside damage from a carb fire and the wire to the wiper is gone. The right front fender had a battery sitting on it when the car was stored and must be replaced. the inner fender is ok.This is a great car to restore or would be a great parts car.
