Please read before you dicide to bid, thank you very much This is a 1968 Saab Deluxe 96 Coupe, in great shape. It is an inviting little car, feels great behind the wheel. This is not a perfect car; there is just something about it that gives everyone a warm feeling when you are around it or driving the car. -Runs Good, have not ssen one like this in a while. This car draws a lot of heads while driving down the road, it is so fun to drive something different from everyone else, most people do not know what it is, like it is some kind of alien. As you can see in the photos, the car is rust free. I have taken close ups of the front and rear. Condition of the car is good. This car is not rusty, it has awesome floors, rockers look great, all the supports underneath are in great shape, shock towers are in great shape, you will saved thousands of your hard earned dollars on a car like this, because of how solid the structure is. Paint: It has a nice shine, but it is worn, there are some chips, but from 20' away it looks good, but when you come closer, you notice little things here and there. Overall, it is great because “what you see is what you get” This car has a nice patina. I have chosen not to do any touch ups I like it the way it is. Whoever buys the car could just do some very minor touch ups on a few of the chips that need mending and just drive and enjoy it. The car reminds me of an old pair or levis that you just can’t do without. The hood is in good shape overall the body is sound, but could use a quick paint job in the future if you want it to look really nice. The interior is in nice shape very little wear, upper back seat is a little faded. The dash pad has no cracks very good shape. The headliner is in great shape, and the sun visors are excellent. The blinkers work, brake lights need repair, headlights work, Odometer and other gauges do not work- there seems to be some type of electrical problem which won’t cost much to fix. Mechanically it is in good shape. The engine starts right up, and idles nicely. The fuel pump and the cooling fan have a separate start button you have to activate before starting the car. It does not burn any oil, it does blow some white smoke (occasionally) my mechanic says it has the tendency of running rich. His advice was to change the fuel pump. Heater does not work, so if you live an area that gets very cold like back east I would certainly think about it twice, don’t know how much that would cost to repair, let me rephrase It has the heater components just don’t know if they work maybe it just a matter of connecting everything up. I DON’T KNOW. Has Weber Carburetor overhauled recently, new spark plugs, new spark plug cables, new battery, new fuel filters, as well as recent oil change? The brakes feel decent, and stop the car well. Brake lines look good as well. The tires are in great shape with great tread. The Wheels are original I do not know the miles on the motor, odometer reads 86000 miles as you can see in one of the pictures. It does run good, and I have driven on 50-60 mile small trips and it does great. This would make a great daily driver. The vehicle is registered in California 2012, has a clean title; buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle or arranging transport.
