1966 Honda CL 77 ScramblerThis bike is listed in many other places and if it sells there first I will cancel this auction I am selling all my bikes. Please don’t bid on it if you do not intend to buy. 1966 Honda CL 77 305 Scrambler I bought this in California in 2001 from Tom Stockstill (Deluxe Honda) when I had money and I wanted the best scrambler I could get. Tom is no longer in business but he, Ed Moore in Texas and Bill Silver are considered some of the leading experts (as far as I know) for these bikes. When I bought this Tom was restoring bikes for people and also selling a few bikes I did have Ed Moore rebuild the head a few years ago after putting the wrong size plugs in it and messing up the valves. Ed also fixed the timing advance, which wasn’t to his liking One picture shows an extra gas tank and side covers (yellow) ....they no longer go with the bike. The muffler/pipes are a two-piece unit so you can pull off the muffler.
