1970 Dodge Charger 500 Numbers matching 383 console automatic. light green metallic with green interior and vinyl top. We are the second owners with fender tag, build sheet and clear title. The Good: We purchased this car in 1997 from the original owners. Original motor , original transmission, original 8 1/4 rear axle, original wheels, original radiator, exhaust manifolds, front disc brakes, sway bar, good glass. all chrome trim, excellent bumpers, excellent taillights. car is complete with gauges, engine and front light wiring, Hood mounted turn signals, rallye dash wiring present has original intake, air cleaner, padded door panels, and rear seat (not pictured) original steering wheel original factory wheels Engine is rebuilt to magnum specs with 16,780 miles. I can provide build specs from machine shop, I used it in my 68 charger and it runs superb ( I mean superb) I put a fresh coat of orange on it and installed it in the car 3/27/11 includes 4 barrel intake. car has all of its original sheetmetal, doors trunk lid and has never suffered a collision. Doors operate smoothly as do window regulators. nice straight bumpers, chrome trim is in excellent condition The Bad: Car is rusty in all the usual areas for Chargers. trunk quarters, drivers floor, (See pictures) Passenger front frame is rusted from the edge of the passenger door 6 inches in on the bottom only. tortion bar area is solid as is the front frame rail. very minor (See pictures) rear frame is excellent (see pictures). rear valance is dented, grill is slightly warped due to missing fasteners, Simply put this car is in need of complete restoration there is no part of it that does not need to be redone refurbished or repainted The Missing: horns, starter alternator + brackets, PS pump (has the brackets.) door locks, trunk lock. wiper switch, washer button. seat belts, drivers mirror, antenna, transmission inspection cover, original steering column (it has a good floor shift column in it, just not the original) battery tray, front side marker lights, various fasteners, screws and clips. car has been loosely reassembled with all its surviving components. during disassembly parts were bagged and tagged. though not all survived the years and the moves original fasteners and parts were used whenever available Car has been assembled only for shipping purposes and is not drivable. various fasteners and small items will be missing.
