Open to trades see bottom of listing. 1987 Mercedes Benz 300TD wagon. Six cylinder turbo diesel. Automatic transmission. Power everything. Sunroof. White exterior, Tan leather interior, dark wood veneer. RUST FREE. Pretty rare and incredibly expensive model. Apparently only 500 brought to us in 87 and upwards of 35k new. I acquired this car from a friend in leiu of payment for a veggie oil conversion and carpentry job. I was hoping to drive this myself but ran out of time before i needed a car a got a less extravagent vehicle for a steal. The condition of this car should be a testament to how well this vehicle was cared for and maintained. It came from california last. Theres is 222k on the body but my friend put in a newer engine about two years ago and told me it was 170k ish when installed. He insisted it needs the head gasket replaced and thats it but with automobiles one can never tell, especially an ametuer like me. the repair was above my mechanically skill so i declined but priced head gasket kits and they did not seems to be much 100ish. He aslo insisted everything else on the car is working and good in fact laughed at me when i even asked but i havent driven it personally. The Bad first: Head gasket Needs bumper re installed as it was taken off to tow it Needs battery Antennae broken Various small pieces of interior and exterior trim have popped off but are present Paint and condition are incredible but there is an area over passenger rear fender where tire popped ( tire was bald and just a very old spare used just for tows) while towing and pitted not scraped etc the finish there, but is minor. there is also a bit of paint bubbling allong the lower edge of rear windows, dime sized here and there and very minor. The Good: Minimal money, incredible car. Power everything, power seats heated, sunroof, windows. Tan leather interior is in amazing shape. Front seats are even in excellent shape,. hardly ever the case in an older car Roof rack Rust free even in most common rust prone spots like jacking points. very minor surface stuff see the bad above. 1000lb plus payload Third row seat Self leveling suspension. Tint Matching aftermarket rubber mats Comes with a complete set of W123 rims. Think permanently mounted winter tires. Exterior is also in great shape..........
