Up for auction is my 944 vin. number WPOABO946HN471119 painted in the highly admired Guards Red Porsche. The body is in good condition for its age. If you are looking for a perfect car then I suggest that you keep looking; but if you are looking for a Porsche that is affordable and needs some TLC than this one is for you. I purchased the car from a father and son team looking to fix up the car. Unfortunately, they did not know anything about cars so they gave up. I purchased the car and replaced the fuel pump, battery and computer, now the car runs great! I was going to keep the car for myself but I need something more practical for work. Here are some highlights on the car so you have a better idea of its condition: The body is rust free and I would give the paint a 6 out of 10 rating. All of the doors have even gaps and are very solid when they close. The windshield has a small 3” crack in the lower drivers corner. It is very hard to see unless you actually look for it. The car starts right up and drives fine. The interior is in decent shape but you will not win any trophies at a car show. The carpet is nice while the dash pad is cracked – typical of Florida cars. The stereo is an am/fm/cd player with an mp3 jack in the front. The stereo face removes to prevent theft. All of the gauges work. The air conditioning needs to be charged but the blower fan does work properly. The engine and transmission sound good and work properly. The transmission shifts smoothly and makes the car easier to drive than the 5-speed version. The power steering pump has a broken mount but does not affect the drivability of the car. The exhaust is nice and quiet and is in good condition. The new owner will enjoy this vehicle as is and could easily deal with the small fixes. This is a great car both in styling and performance; it still turns heads and gets the thumbs up when I take it out. Happy Bidding!
