Vehicle Detail
Im not going to sugar coat this, this Boss 302 will need a lot of work and there are no parts going with it. Most parts on the car were either taken or rusty and the car has been sitting here for several years. I do have a Kevin Marti report and whoever buys it will get it along with the car. This car was built in Oct of 1969, the color was Calypso Coral and it had a 3.91 rear end in it. The options on the car were a rear deck spoiler, four speed, trac loc, shaker hood scoop, sport slats and a AM radio. As far as the options you really couldnt ask for a better color or options. The body is very rough and I would say every part on the car has at least some rust. This car was media blasted and we removed the rear quarters and tail light panel and that is when we decided it was a bigger project then we wanted to tackle. I have a good title for it the vin on the dash is correct and looks like it has never been removed and both inner aprons have the vin stamped in them. The front shock towers have some rust in them but dont look too bad. The transition panel and rear floor panel under the rear seats and the staggered shocks are not too bad and should be repairable. Both doors are repairable they came off another car and the bottom of the doors are not swollen up but the door on the passenger side has some past damage and they pulled it out with a dent puller. The door has been media blasted at one time so what you see is what you get. Since the car has already been media blasted whatever rust you see there should be no more after you start working on the car. If someone needs us to we can make this a roller so it can be pushed up on a trailer or transport truck. I guess I would plan on replacing most of the panels on the car and if you get a few more then I said then that will be a bonus for you. I do have a decent coupe with very little rust that I would sell to the winning bidder for 600 dollars and the frame rails, torque boxes, cowl and other parts could be taken off that car and used on here. The coupes and fastbacks were the same for most parts except the obvious like the quarters, trunk lid and tail light panel. I would be happy to show the car to someone if they are interested. Thanks for your interest. Thanks Kevin
