My dad purchased this Caddy new in 87 and it has been garage kept since then. It is very clean and there is no rust. The interior looks great and the headliner is in nice condition. My dad did not smoke and cigarettes have never been inside this car. All the electronics work except for the power antenna. The engine starts right up and works great, no smoke at all. The car is inspected until June, and it will have no trouble passing. The tires have decent tread. It has a new battery. The biggest problem with the car is that the transmission does not shift into 4th gear. It shits into the first 3 gears fine, but will not shift into 4th. There is a scratch on the lower rear quarter panel on the passenger side from when my dad backed into a pole in a parking lot. There is also a small dent in the front bumper. (I've included pictures of those two issues) Other than some small dings and scratches, the car body is in great shape.
