1954 Buick 2 door sedan. Clear title. VIN 6A1108306. Original title, door tag and serial number indicate that it is a model 66R, however, the tag on the cowl is for a model 56R. Odometer reads 69622, which is most likely 169622. Turquoise and white, has been repainted at some point. 322 Nailhead, 3-speed manual trans. Interior upholstery has been redone black and purple, the original interior is still underneath, not sure of condition of it. Some of the interior trim has been poorly repainted. The car runs and drives, but has a lifter tick. Transmission may need a new throwout bearing. The windshield is cracked, will need replaced, and driver's side window has small crack. Most of the weather stripping will need redone. All chrome is missing or pitted, some of the trim is stored in the trunk, not sure which pieces. Stainless steel trim is ok. There is some rust on the body, but not sure exactly how much, as there is a lot of body filler, some of which is cracked, and the floorboards and trunk are rusty, but reparable. Looks like the rear wheel wells have been reshaped with body filler (poorly) at some point. Has like-new repro. whitewall tires. New brakes. Clean gas tank. All the lights work, one of the bulbs needs replaced, though. This is actually a pretty cool car, despite all of it's issues. We brought this car home & got the brakes done and tuned it up a bit, and just decided we don't have the time or money to invest in restoring it, but it would make a great project car for someone.
