Hallada Truck Sales, an International Harvester Truck franchise was started in 1955 by Frank Hallada Sr. in Ridgeway, WI. Frank Sr.’ successes with International Harvester Truck sales led to an opportunity with Ford-Mercury. In 1971 he and his brother started selling and servicing Ford-Mercury vehicles in Dodgeville, WI. Frank Jr. started at the dealership at a young age, washing vehicles and helping out in the office when possible. He worked at the dealership through high school and college. Our certified Technicians have stated that this Legend needs the following safety related items: Front & Rear Brake Pads, Four Tires (2 are bald), and the Exhaust is getting rusty but is not noisy. This Legend also has some cosmetic issues: Rust over wheel wells, rear driver’s side door handle is broken (still works), interior is soiled and the driver side seat leather has a small tear. The power features of the vehicle all seem to work. The heated seats work and the power sliding sunroof also works. The Radio works but has static and the display is not working. Hallada Truck Sales, an International Harvester Truck franchise was started in 1955 by Frank Hallada Sr. in Ridgeway, WI. Frank Sr.’ successes with International Harvester Truck sales led to an opportunity with Ford-Mercury. In 1971 he and his brother started selling and servicing Ford-Mercury vehicles in Dodgeville, WI.
Frank Jr. started at the dealership at a young age, washing vehicles and helping out in the office when possible. He worked at the dealership through high school and college. In 1986 he graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Degree in Business Administration with ambitions of returning to Dodgeville someday to take the reins from Frank Sr.
Seven years later he was given the opportunity to do just that, Frank Sr. was retiring. Frank Jr. continued his father’s success in the automotive business through hard work, competitive pricing, and great customer service.
In 1995 Frank Jr. purchased the Chevy Buick franchise from Dave Baker. In 1998 he built a new Chevy Buick showroom next to the Ford showroom located at 306 E. Leffler St, our current location.
