Vehicle Detail
This is a 1972 Cutlass S.It has the original motor with 7A heads. The 2 bbl carb and intake has been repalced with a 4 bbl carb and intake. The car is a good daily driver.Motor runs good and transmission shifts good. The motor is cold natured. The car wants to bog down when you stomp on the pedal with the RPMS low.But if you have the rpms up it takes off strong. The exhaust is good but not new.All of the floor pans and trunk pan have been repaired.Tires are in good shape but not new.All of the A/C is hooked up but no belt on the compressor.Do not know if it works. All of the gauges work except the clock. All of the glass is good. There are a couple quarter size holes in the bottom part of the front bench seat and one on the very top of the back seat. The bench seat top 2 sections have been professionally redone.I have put alot of money and parts in the car to get it going.New parts are:New gas tank,New fuel sending unit in gas tank,New coil over shocks on the back,New rubber brake lines,New master cylinder(manual 4 wheel drums),New oldsmobile ssI center caps,New fuel pump,Rebuilt carb,New HEI distibutor,New plug wires and plugs,New interior side panels that go on each side of the back seat,New package tray,New glove box insert,New headliner(but has wrinkles),New door window seals(felts) inside and out,New quarter window seals(felts)inside and out.New quarter window to door glass seals.New roof rail seals and I m sure I have forgoten other items I have bought new.The car is very dirty in the pictures and will clean up nice except the areas in black primer. Now the bad.I bought the car off ebay and it had just been painted. So it looked great.Once I got it delivered to me I found out it had alot of bondo in it.My loose your gain. The back window will need the bondo contoured and painted and the front lower part of the drivers fender will need the same.Looks like the fender had a repair panel installed and the door hit it knocking some of the filler out.The bottom part of the doors are rusted out and they repaired the outer shell before painting. It will need some new carpet as well.It is a great car to driver around town and gets alot of thumbs up.I is a good daily driver but no where near a show car.I m sure there are thing I have forgotten. Please feel free to ask questions. Please come and test drive the car if possible. This is a project car and still needs some work to be finished but is a driveable muscle car that is complete.Sold as is
