Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GORGEOUS LOOKING ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING 1967 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE C-CODE 289 V8 WITH 51K MILES ON THE ODOMETER (BELIEVED TO BE ORIGINAL)! VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Power steering 2) Manual brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) Power Convertible top 6) Bucket seats w/floor shift 7) C-CODE 289ci/200hp 2V motor 8) Automatic Transmission 9) Remote Mirror 10) Stock 14" steel wheels with factory hubcaps and whitewall tires The car comes from Pennsylvania. I've had it for about 6 months now and have been redoing the car a little at a time. The car had no brakes when I got it, so the brake system has been completely overhauled by my mechanic (new shoes, drums, lines, etc.) Other than that it was a pretty original car with matching numbers 289 V8 that I just had to lightly detail and do some minor tuning on. Top was ripped so I had a new one professionally installed. I also replaced the bumpers and put new rocker moldings and the car looks great! You could fly in and drive it home, it's that reliable. Interior is in EXCELLENT condition with minor general wear here and there. Seats are nice (rear lower cushion has two seam splits by center and some discoloration. Carpet is good. Dash pad is very nice. Door panels in good shape. Nice steering wheel. Convertible top is NEW. Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the stock MATCHING NUMBERS 289ci/200hp 2V motor which is 100% bone stock. Starts easily and sounds great . Good stock power overall and brakes stop VERY WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without worries, just tune it the way you want and you're ready to go. I've driven it mostly around town here and there, and a few times on the highway on the way to a local cruise night or car show, never on any long trips. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY with good luster for a nice driver (NOT a showcar of course). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect. Carburetor could use rebuild. Floors have some minor surface rust here and there and a couple of small patches. Decent torque boxes, NICE shock towers and good frame rails. Remote mirror needs new glass. Perhaps a light or two could use bulbs. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A BEAUTIFUL CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER AS IT IS. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT WITH THE TOP DOWN AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND FINISH RESTORING IT AS YOU SEE FIT. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A MATCHING NUMBERS 1967 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE WITH 51K MILES ON THE ODOMETER!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
