Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice 1981 Honda CB750F. It is by no means a show bike and it has minor scratches, minor surface rust and a few dings. This bike would make a great daily rider or would be an excellent start for a full restoration. I've had this bike in my collection for about a year and I don't know much about it's history before I bought it. I am a collector and restorer but not a dealer and I don't buy and sell bikes as a business. I try to purchase bikes that are is great shape to begin with and bring them back to fully restored like new condition. When I got this bike it needed more mechanical work than the person that sold it to me told me about. In other words I was lied to. All of the work that was needed was routine and there were no big problems to sort out but the bottom line is that now all of that has been done. Because I like doing all for the fun stuff like rechroming and painting and detailing I leave most of the mechanical work to my good friend who also happens to be a certified Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha tech for the local dealer. He has completely gone through the bike and it runs great. Here is a list of what has just been completed; carbs removed, cleaned and replaced and synced. Front and rear hydralic brakes (calipers and master cylinders) rebuilt and new pads installed. New battery and new tires front and rear. The bike is mechanically ready to go and needs nothing. Like I said, I don't do this for a living, just a hobby, so I usually lose money on a bike that I sell and probably will on this one. I paid $1800 for it and have spent another $1000 making sure it is mechanically sound. I'm listing it with no reserve and I won't pull the plug and end the auction early if the price doesn't go up. Ebay doesn't like side deals or ending auctions early so please don't ask me to do that. I have 11 years and a perfect record with ebay and I don't want to mess that up. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer and you can click on the shipping tab to get a quote and I'll be happy to help with arrangements on my end. Payment in full within 7 days after the close of the auction is required. If you have less than 5 feedback or more that 1 negative in the past 6 months that's no problem, just please contact me before you bid otherwise I reserve the right to cancel your bid. Sorry about that but there are scammers out there who will mess up the auction for everyone else. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at (228) 860-8222. Thanks for looking and good luck if you decide to bid.
