You are bidding on a 1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata Convertible. This rare bird is absolutely gorgeous! This is a ONE-OWNER, 43K original mile, Hard top AND Soft top convertible, 5-speed beauty! This is by far the nicest Miata we have ever had – and we have had literally hundreds! We believe that this was a garage-kept, non-smoking vehicle based on its current condition. In fact, we would feel safe in saying that the hard-top more than likely has never even been off the vehicle – there are absolutely no signs of the “latches” even being touched for removal – the soft-top is still concealed in the factory boot. The hard top does have a couple of small areas that have been “touched-up” – visible in photos but do not even come close to detracting from it’s overall beauty. We didn’t want to disturb it from what we believe to be original condition. There are a few nice upgrades to her from the teakwood accents to the like-new Miata door kickpanels, as well as the after-market BBS wheels – beautiful condition! This "upgrade" is the C-package that was a limited release for the Miata. We would even go further in assuming that was a single individual that owned it. The leather interior is in great condition for the year; driver’s seat is in very good condition and shows below average wear, while the passenger seat does not look to have even been sat in. We drove this little gem back from auction ourselves (approximately 300 miles) – and it did not miss a beat! The 1.6L 4-cylinder engine responded like a 43K mile vehicle should; the clutch feels brand new. The ABS light is on; however, there are no noticeable issues with the brakes as far as we can tell thus far. It comes with an AM/FM cassette and CD player – currently does not have power (not sure if it had an after-market in and the original was replaced without complete hookup or if it is just a fuse). In keeping with wanting to leave it in original condition, there is a small ding in the front driver’s fender (visible slightly in photos); it may be quickly and easily removed by a local “dent-wizard” without marring the current beautiful paint. The classic black finish shines like glass; may have a small scratch here or there but otherwise is in fantastic condition – especially for an almost 19-year-old vehicle. It even comes with a current VA inspection good until 06/11. Get a jump on summer with a beautiful "drop-top". This is definitely the way to go! Don’t let this beautiful gem pass you by – remember, she is a one-owner, 43K original mile rare find!
