Up for bid is my 1971 CJ5, this is the last year for the 81" wheel base and the last to have the coveted 225 Dauntless V6. This CJ was given a resto in 1999 this included floors, paint, clutch, and a motor refresh. In 2007 she was fitted with Ranco supension a new Tiger top and soft door, ( Bikini top included has never been installed) neoprene seat covers, rhinolined the interior of the tub, ceramic coated long tube headers, dynomax turbos, tube bumpers front and rear with mathcing nerf bars and roll bar, master cyl, wheel cyl and shoes, last Aug she got a new set of BFG 31's and a new set of aluminum rims. The jeep has 6xxx miles since all of this work was started in 1999, she has sat in climate controled storage most of the time. Feel free to ask for any pics, all questions will be answered. I have this for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I will help with shipping ie: work with transport company, I will not deliver or meet you at any point between; if I put plates and insurance on it this year I am keeping it.This is an original steel body, not fiberglass.Rear seat and belts are included but not installed at this time.It runs and drives great. Everything works ie: light etc. painless harness installed in 1999.I have NO idea of original mileage.It does not have a heater ( Flex-a-lite heater $160 complete, if not only driven in the summer )The diamond plate is not covering rot, the body is CLEAN with only a small amount of filler on the PS fender.Most receipts and records are available. pics @ http://s1181.photobucket.com/albums/x435/cornrowcornilius/ Please ask any questions you may have BEFORE bidding.
