All lights, horn, blinkers work. · Elec Windshield wipers · Under dash Elec heater, blows HOT air · Bucket seats with lap seat belts This is a great 1951 WILLYS, a real head turner! Just passed inspection. But, due to being um-employed, I am forced to sell it. No cash comin in, credit card is going up! This Willys Runs great, handles, drives, steers and stops perfect! I run it down the road at 60mph all the time. With that said, it is a slightly unstable at speeds over 60 mph, if you are not familiar with driving older jeeps, I don’t recommend you exceed 60 mph. These types of jeeps can roll easier than newer models. This Willys is 60 year old Jeep, and it will require maintenance occasionally. The transfer case leaks a little gear oil, I just check it every 2 months or so, and if needed add some gear oil. So far, I put about ½ pint in the last year. The SM420 Transmission has a “Granny” “Stump pullin” First Gear. When in low range, 4x4 and First Gear, this thing will crawl up and over anything! On that note, I rarely use the First Gear, its like an old Ford, just too low to use on anything except strait up a hill. Shift pattern is typical H with Reverse down and towards drivers seat. As you can see in the pictures, the Right, front fender took a hit, it’s been straightened out and can be fixed as is or just replace the fender. The rest of the paint is older, it has chips and cracks in the paint here and there. If I didn’t have to sell it, I would paint it. Other than that, this Jeep is ready to go, drive it daily, or whatever you like. Winner will pay for ALL shipping costs, I will help with getting to the Willys to the shipping point, if it’s not too far from my home.
