1993 Nissan Maxima I bought this car in September of 2010 from another private seller who used this car as a commuter car to get to and from work. This car runs well - more will be explained further in. Automatic transmission, Air Conditioning works great, heat works, the car has a recently installed Kenwood KDC-MP145 AM/FM CD/MP3 player (with AUX input), has power windows *** The driver's side window doesn't work, I was told by the previous owner that it needs a new regulator or window motor but I haven't bothered to fix it since to me this wasn't of urgent importance***, Lights work, has a recent paint job that looks very nice, the dash looks very appealing and clean, the fabric covering the inside roof of the car visor and upholstery is intact and not falling apart, the 4 tires on the car are ALL Michellin Harmony with about 50% tread remaining... (Any specks on the pictures are probably just tree/flower particulates) Some recent work that has been done on the car has been the replacement of two fuel injectors, radiator flush (January), new front tie rod ends followed by a 4 wheel alignment (in January), New Air and Fuel filters at 147k (part of tune-up), oil change was done at 150k, brake pads replaced not long ago by previous owner (they still have plenty of friction material left). Overall, the car isn't the prettiest or fastest running, but it gets the job done. Some Mechanical issues I should note are: * The car has some rough idle while (in Gear as well) that at times evens out but can be felt. I was told that the car could possibly need to have the fuel injectors cleaned. * Shifting from 1st to 2nd gear can sometimes feel jerky. (Transmission fluid is still reddish, no particles were found in checking the fluid and it didn't smell burnt) * The rear passenger side shock absorber (in the strut) has gone bad, so the ride is less smooth than what it normally is. -- To my knowledge, those are the only mechanical issues with the car, the check engine light isn't on as well. Cosmetically... * There are stains on the driver and passenger floors, as well as one in the rear passenger side and on the driver seat as well as the trunk mat. * The exterior of the car shows very few scratches, few very small dents (one shown in the picture) which are only visible at an angle. ======= Exterior = very nice, recent paint job, nice exterior body with few scratches/dentsInterior = some stains (as mentioned above), gray fabric, black dashboardEngine = 3.0L 6 Cylinder VG30 (~160HP) Transmission = Shifts good, has that jerky shift from 1st to 2ndA/C, heat, Power windows, Rear Defrost, AM/FM Radio and CD Player, Driver AirbagSeats 5 comfortablySpare Tire(1994 version of the Same Vehicle)Great Trunk SpaceGood for a starter car, its reliable and safe to drive - I did my best in explaining the vehicle, in the time that I owned it I never had any major issues, it drove well in the city and smoothly on the Highway even going 70. I am selling this vehicle because I recently looked into purchasing another that is smaller (I only commute by myself to and from School). -Other than what was mentioned above, to the extent of my knowledge there are no other issues.
