1986 HONDA FATCAT TR200 – BETTER THAN NEW! I’ve decided to sell my 1986 Honda FatCat. This was a very fun project but its time to move on. This bike runs like new, very tight. Starts right up using either kick start or electric start, both fully functional. I tried not to miss anything on getting this bike to “better than new” condition. I had all originally painted OEM components of this bike stripped, sandblasted, zinc corrosion coated and powder coated OEM white. The wheels and engine guard were sand blasted and powder coated Anodized Aluminum to make it a little more unique. The bike was installed with brand new rubber, front and rear, very aggressive for trail riding. The engine was removed, stripped and primed/painted OEM Honda Engine Black with attention to detail. All original screw, bolts and nuts and were polished prior to installation. Seat is original and in excellent condition, no tares or cuts. I installed new Renthal Racing bars and grips as well as Acerbis Brush Guards. Bike has new brakes, new fork seals, new wheel barings, new fork boots, new chain and sprockets, new chain guide rubber, new spark plug, cleaned carburetor, new battery, new OEM FatCat Decals, New Honda OEM Fender Toolbag, new CDI box, new Air Filter Assmbly. Bike has original plastic throughout and is in EXCELLENT condition. I stripped plastic and bleached with soft-scrub prior to applying new decals. Only one small crack (2”) in rear fender, I completely repaired this crack and its covered by the toolbag. This bike was always garage kept and stored with fuel stabilizer. I have over $3000 in this bike and am hoping to break even.
