Time to move on....I am selling my 2001 Honda sportbike (my very first bike) for a larger bike my wife and I can ride together. The bike is very very clean and straight. Runs excellent with no issues, complaints, or concerns. I wouldn't think twice about getting on this bike and riding anywhere. I photographed up close every blemish on the bike (which there only 3)....there is a tiny rust spot on the top of the gas tank, the paint is lightly scuffed on the very tail fin, and the only real blemish was part of my growing pains. Like I said, it was my very first bike ever and although I was 34 when I bought it, I had a lot to learn. Unfortunately I dropped the bike in a parking lot going less than 10 miles an hour the first week I owned it. As you can see it scuffed the static cover so I sanded the scuffed side in hopes of polishing it out.....obviously it didn't work out. None the less, you have excellent pictures of all the issues of the bike.....course the good stuff is obvious....tires have plenty of miles left, I've never pulled a wheelie so suspension is not an issue, it only has 13 thousand miles on it so the motor is plenty strong....I did put some sliders on the fairings after I dropped it although the fairing never touched the ground, just the handle bar, static cover, and front blinkers...which the bar was unblemished and I replaced the blinkers with flush mount LEDs and you can see the sliders in the pics. The seats look brand new without a single wrinkle. Even the paint underneath the bike is exceptional. Using the money for down payment so no reserve.....bid with confidence.
