Vehicle Detail
This is a 1995 Nissan 200sx SE-R with red top SR20DET swap. Engine is a true Bluebird motor (verified by head code). I bought the car nearly two years for a project vehicle. Paint job was done by previous owner by a shop (not my taste). The vehicle was in need of repair, as engine, brakes, suspension, and electrical had problems. The interior was stripped and had cheap “racing seats” mounted poorly with improperly installed 4 point harness. I had a donor car and took both vehicles to a friend that did the work. Interior was swapped between vehicles and carpet was cleaned. Door panel fabric and headliner were falling off, so they were reupholstered. All of the electrical issues were worked out, and have worked fine. Engine/drivetrain required work also as previous owner did some poor repairs. Vehicle has been running great since all the repairs. Engine pulls very well and turbo is set back to factory boost. There is an open atmosphere blow off valve, so when initially putting in clutch, engine rpms drop to about 500 and jump right back to idle speed. The car will come with factory bov and recirculation tube and factory intake to hook it up if new owner wants. Much work has been done to car, but here is the list of all the new parts that have been replaced………. full aluminum radiator thermostat spark plugs fuel filter battery starter valve cover gasket knock off Greddy Type S bov with clipped spring (have torn apart this one and real Type S and made nearly the same) cv halfshafts tie rod ends ball joints front/rear struts front wheel bearings rear brake calipers master cylinder short throw shifter Auto Meter coolant temp gauge (instrument panel one does not work after swap) headliner/door panel/sun visors reupholstered windshield Other parts were replaced, but second hand. The car had the engine swap already done before I got it, and has a Jim Wolf Technology remapped ecu installed. The car also came with the 5zigen Fireball wheels already on it. Tires are Falken Azenis RT-615 in 205/50r15. Car came with original Progress lowering springs. The brake pads/rotors looked to have been replaced just before I got it. The exhaust was on from previous owner and don’t know much of anything about it. Now for some bad things…….The passenger side window used to go down from driver side switch, but now won’t. Passenger side switch works fine. The tires have about half life on them (for those that don’t know, those tires come with bit less tread depth new and are basically a competition summer tire). All the wheel liners are missing, but still have donor car which has all of them. I just have not been able to swap them due to weather conditions. The check engine light is on, but this is no issue with the vehicle. The code it throws pertains to a secondary crank sensor, which can’t be installed, that is there to detect misfires. It is not a fault in the primary crank sensor. It is common amongst the engine swap/trans swap in these vehicles. The vehicle also needs an alignment, which I may take care of myself. Just have not had the chance to due to the weather………. Other than that, car does very well. It is a fairly quick car, especially if you can get traction or not wheel hop out of the hole. Hate to sell it, but moved on to another project. If you have any questions on anything, feel free to ask. I can deliver the car to your home for .35 cents per mile.I will drive the car to you.I may require you to meet me or drop me off at an airport for those of you that are far from 43821.Contact me if your unsure about the details.
