Vehicle Detail

Up for sale a piece of American history, a 1962 Ford F100 Stepside. The stepsides are very rare and hard to find in this condition. I will try to describe the vehicle best of my knowledge. I am not a dealer nor a mechanic but if you have any questions e-mail me, I check my e-mail very often I will get back to you asap. I believe the truck has numbers matching 223 (inline 6 cylinder) and 3 on tree (manual) transmission. The truck is in running condition. 98% rust free. 2% rust is on the tire splashes both sides, it is bolt on so not in the body! Shown on pictures. Gauge shows 95k miles but the cluster is not working so I have no idea of knowing if it is the original miles. The horn, turn signals are also not working. There is a big crack on the windshield (see the pictures) Rest of the glass is perfect. I just upgraded the front brakes to discs brakes (kit from speedway) and put brand new drum brakes in the back (kit from speedway). 4 brand new whitewall tires with very good condition hub caps.New flywheel and clutch added recently. The clutch stop grabbing we found the problem was shifter lever was a little short even with the adjustment doesn't work the way I wanted it to be. I ordered the part from LMC truck however they only have it for 1965 I have the part brand new with bushings which comes with the car but haven't installed it and do not know if it will work. That has been said, the shift is on natural so it can be started. However do be driven the problem needs to be addressed. Otherwise it runs really good. In my opinion the body is in outstanding condition. Check the pictures for underneath the truck seems very solid with only surface rust, nothing rotted. Some pealing on the paint. I was going to get a nice paint job but wasn't my first priority. The truck also has a nice hatch for towing welded to the chassis. I have a clear Louisiana title on hand. I just bought another car so this one needs to go. The truck is for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to end it anytime. The truck is for sale as is where is with no warranty. The buyer is responsible for shipping and the arrangement and I will help you the best I can.
