1999 JAGUAR XJR SUPERCHARGED 69,9xx Original Miles You are bidding on an 1999 Jaguar XJR Sedan with 69,9xx original miles. It has been in Southern California its whole life. It is black with tan leather interior. Unlike many of the other XJRs listed online, This XJR has been well-maintained, and all of the troubled maintenance items you hear about have been completed. The most important repair on XJ-Series from this era is the tensioner replacement: Jaguar's original parts were made of plastic and cracked over time, causing the timing to be thrown off. If not replaced with the later-improved metallic tensioner, it could destroy the engine. I have the service records showing that the tensioner was replaced with the metal type and warrantied. The Supercharger was checked to be in excellent condition. The front struts were also replaced as part of the wear/tear. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the car doesn't even not leak a drop of fluid. There is plenty of life left on the tires/brakes, and the vehicle has been serviced by Jaguar-certified mechanics.There are no warning lights on the dash. Everything works as originally-equipped, except for the car phone, which was removed given the old phone's technology no longer in-use today.All of the books/remotes/keys are included with the vehicle.The car has a clean CARFAX/AUTOCHECK history, and it has never been in an accident. The paint is excellent and the leather interior is generally good. The driver's seat shows some wear but very typical of a 12-year old car. The mileage is very low (average less than 6,000 miles/year) for a 12-year timepiece. All options are original from Jaguar. The previous owner also wired an after-market Sirius satellite radio with remote control.You will be hard-pressed to find another XJR with this type of mileage, all of the maintenance/repair work done, and in excellent condition as this one.
