1966 Datsun 1600 Roadster. One owner since 1978. This car was purchased in Arizona and kept in covered storage when not in use. Car is licensed and safety inspected. The original engine had been removed in Arizona. The current engine was rebuilt in 1998, and only has approximately 15,000 miles since then, the odometer shows 94,332. About the same time as the engine rebuild the car was stripped to bare metal, primed and professionally painted with base coat/clear coat. Since that time the car has suffered a few chips and dings (mostly while sitting in the garage). I have never wrecked the car but when it was painted it showed a large repair on driver's door. The dash board is weather cracked and the carpet is cut to fit; not the original carpet kit. It has received many improvements over the years some of which include: stainless steel fabricated exhast header; chromed front grill, bumper, and hub caps; new shocks; cleaned and coated gas tank; cleaned radiator; new points and plugs; and many other new parts. It comes with two boxes of used parts from other cars if you want them, including four extra carburetors two intake manifolds to mention just a few. The top is in good shape with no yellow on the back window but has a small tear around one swivel tie on drivers side. The seats were redone about ten years ago but show no signs of wear. Many have asked about driving it to their place of residence after purchasing, I recommend transporting it long distances on a trailer. I once drove it from Phoenix to Ogden and it broke down in Provo (about 70 miles short of Ogden - 620 miles from Phoenix) with a broken gas line. I researched shipping costs to LA and found transporters for $425. I generally just drive it around town, perhaps it could make a long trip, but there's no guarantee.
