1999 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. 197000 miles. Engine needs timing chain and head gasket. Also needs brakes. Other mechanics are good. Body is straight and in good shape. I drove this car for 100,000 miles and has been a great vehicle but its time to move on. The timing chain has been making noise for a while (20000-30000) miles but has always run very well. Recently the temp gauge started dropping like it would when a head gasket was going so I quit driving it. It has not been hot. This car would be great for parts or with engine work have a few more good miles. It will not be able to be driven home because of head gasket-I'm sure it would overheat if driven very far.
