We purchased this truck about 1 year ago with the hopes of getting it up and running as a back up hauler for our business but have since bought other trucks and have decided to turn this project over to someone else to finish or if you are looking for a GM 350 motor with trans for another vehicle this would be an easy pull out and scrap the rest of the truck. The motor is a crate GM 350 (is a strong motor just has a vacuum leak) and the tranny is also GM crate replacement. So... Both motor and tranny are not original to truck and the 244xxx miles are on the body, frame , not sure how many miles on the motor and tranny but mechanic said both GM crate replacemants and motor is very strong ( I do not know a whole lot about the specs so I will try to give as much info as possible) We have put about $2500 into this truck in the last year, parts include.... New plugs, wires, Distributor cap, air filter, all 4 shocks replaced, new brake lines (all except the 2 short ones in back but we do have the lines and fittings to finish, we have a new muffler just needs the connecting pipe and hang it,fresh oil change with fram filter, 1 injector was replaced,the frame was rusty so we had most rust knocked off and coated what iron we could with black primer to stop the rusting, new belt, pulley, tensioner. This truck will start (will need a jump from sitting) but will idle unstable due to vacuum leak, but push the the throttle and u can tell plenty of power! It will need to be towed because when brake line up front was being done a rubber tranny line popped a leak and spits out when truck is running. IT MUST BE TOWED!!!!! We didnt get to check the brakes yet so that is why rear wheel is off, it will come with the wheel , all tires hold air , low tread but workable. When we bought it it was driving and stopping fine so we know it can bet put on road again with a little TLC. Like I said , If you just need the motor and tranny it would be an easy pull and scrap the body. WE WILL NEED THE TRUCK GONE WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF WINNING BID!
