You are looking at a 69 Chevelle Super Sport. This car was abandoned at an auto body shop years ago. Most of the good SS items are missing. You get it just as you see it. There are no bucket seats, motor, trans, grill, etc. The tach dash was swapped out years ago for a standard dash. The 12 bolt rear was also swapped out for a 10 bolt. It does still have the disc brakes and SS hood. It is a factory 4 speed car. I remember this car back in the 70s. Believe it or not, as I remember it, it was a factory silver car with red SS strip up the side and a red bench seat gut. Later in the 80s, an owner painted it red, put black interior in it and automatic so his wife could drive it. Later, it went to a local body shop where the shop owner cut off the right side ¼ panel and left the car sit. Eventually, the shop claimed the car for storage and I got it. I went through the trouble to get a clear Pa title in my name. Based on the cowl tag info, this would be a very nice car to store. The tag break down is: ST69 = 69 model year 13637 = V8 Sport Coupe OS = assembled in Oshawa, Canada 459180 = plant sequence # 787 = interior color RED 6969 = body & roof color CORTEZ SILVER 4A = Assembled in the 1st week of April, 1969 L35 = 396 / 325 HP Big Block M20=– wide ratio Muncie 4 speed U57 = 8-track stereo tape player with four-speakers B79 = Exterior Ornamentation Rear End This car needs everything replaced including, fenders, doors, qtrs, floors and trunk floor. The hood is rusted through a little on the underside up front. The good news in the frame, roof , cowl and firewall are solid. THIS CAR IS VERY ROUGH but everything is available in the aftermarket to fix this car. REAL SUPER SPORTS are not growing on trees any more. This one is worth putting the time and money into based on the color combo and 4 speed. I’m not looking to get rich on it. I just find a good home with an owner who is going to fix it.
