It was to be a project car for our then 15 now 16 year old son who decided he likes playing with his IPod more than the project car so we are selling it. He started removing parts like belt etc that will be included in a box for whoever purchases the car. When we purchased it we were told from the officer that this car was involved in a chase and it “threw a rod” the police officer said that it still was running however when he asked us if we wanted him to start it we declined because we didn’t want to damage it further by starting the vehicle since the rod damaged the oil pan putting a hole in it. I can confirm that I felt a rod lying in the bottom. The rest of the engine appears to have survived. This would be a great rebuild for someone since it is the high performance police pack intrepid engine the hypo 24 valve engine. We were told the tires were recently purchased and are the z-rated high speed tires that the police use. They look like they have most of the original tread. I do have the title that I had to sign there I never took it in to register it so will need to be properly transferred by the purchaser if they are going to drive the car and not just use it for parts. Faults: small dings and scratches, the rear interior door panels missing on passenger side(see picture), scratch on exterior passenger lower door panel from loading it on the trailer. (See picture), hole where the lights were mounted on top of car (see picture) Would make a great project car!
