Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a very restorable 1970 Lincoln Mark III. I purchased it for my mother back in 1991. I did a bunch of work to the car to get it driveable and she enjoyed the car for several years. The car has not been started since 2003 but should run again with a fresh battery, fuel etc. The engine is the massive 460 cubic inch with automatic transmission. It is showing 48000 miles on the odometer. The previous owner who was also the original owner assured me that it had only rolled over once so 148000 miles should be accurate. The White Leather interior is presentable as is but could use the front seats recovered. The headliner is excellent and the dash is not cracked. The windows need work. The A/C controller needs work like they all do, that is why we quit driving it. It was stuck in heat mode and it gets pretty hot here in Georgia. The vehicle was stored indoors until recently. It has some rust on the rear quarter panels as shown in the pics. The trunk lid has a slight dent where someone bumped me. I also have a parts car to go with it. I think it is a 1971 model. The parts car does not have an engine or transmission. I used them in my Ford Van. This car is an excellent project for someone who loves these cars like I do. My mom passed away and I really don't want to sell it but I am a big fan of sleeping indoors and eating, so it has to go. Please feel free to come and look at it and ask questions. My price is NOT negotiable so don't even ask. I feel $1500 is a fair price for a collectible car especially since you get a FREE parts car with it. Here is a link to the NADA Classic Car Values page: http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1970/Lincoln/Continental/Mark-III-2-Door-Hardtop-Coupe/Values . If restored completely, this car could be worth anywhere from $8,000 to $27,000. I am not sure what Mom did with the title so it may be just a bill of sale only. A title is not required on a vehicle of this age in Georgia. I will go to the DMV to research the title. The vehicle will have to be trailered from my location. I will NOT try to get it running so you can drive it out. I will ONLY accept cash in person for this vehicle. If you want to pay with PAYPAL it will cost you an extra $50.00 to cover the fees. Thanks for looking. CF.
