Vehicle Detail
1969 PORSCHE 911S History (as best I know it): Up for auction is an almost completely original 1969 Porsche 911S. My father purchased this car about 12 years ago with the intention of restoring it. When he bought the car, it ran but had a problem with a sticking valve (he believed). My father parked the car in our garage and it sat mostly untouched and stored until now. About 4 years ago, my father got cancer and will no longer be able to restore the car and I am now selling it for him. The origional owner of the car was a Mr. Kudlich of Norwalk, Connecticut (we still have the origional documentation and invoice for the purchase). He sold the car to Mr. Lunsford (whom my father knew) who always kept the car garraged and took great care of the car. In his later years, he gave the car to his son (a friend of my fathers) who stored the car outside for several years until dad bought it. About the car: I do not know a lot about this cars but I will do my best to provide you with as much information as possible. Dad says the car is almost completely origional. It has the original engine but the fuel injection system was replaced with the carborators that are now on the car. We do not have the fule injection system. Also the fuel pump is not original. Dad put one on when he first got the car just to get it running again. The car does not run and has not run in about 12 years. There is rust (see pictures) in the car. The worst rust seems to be on the back hood over the engine and there is rust throughout the car. I photographed the rust as best I could. Here is what the invoice says (see photo): Fahrgestell-Nr. chasss 119301198 Motor-Nr. engine-moteur 6391641 Getriebe-Nr. transmission boite de vitesses 7196800 Auftrag-Nr. order-No. No de commission 99171796 Zu.-T.-schl. The tool kit and porsche jack can be seen in the photos.
