1973 Honda CL

For Sale here is a good running 1973 Honda CL350. It has a clean Illinios title, in my name ready to sign over. It has a new battery 3-17-11. Kick and electric start work perfect, shifts through all the gears etc. I bought this bike in 1999 and made it into the cafe racer project you see here. I rode it a couple times a year until 4 or 5 years ago, and it has sat in a shed since, but the tank and carbs were always drained before winter/storage. The tank was KREEMed when I first bought it. It will need a horn, a headlight (it quit), and air filters(they were foam and deteriorated when I revived it this time).Gas tank must be opened w/ a small screwdriver(button broke). It has the original seat pan, but I can't find the other original parts (bars, signals, mirrors, tail light, etc) that I switched or removed for the cafe deal, in case someone wants to restore it. The chrome is in OK shape w/ very slight specs of rust on fenders and aftermarket mufflers, but it shines real nice. Frame and tank also starting to get surface rust (see pics), but the bike shows well for your typical 38 year old barn fresh unrestored Honda. Someone with more time and less projects than me could have one sweet ride or ride it with the patina it has, it's up to you. Bike is sold as is. Deposit is to be made via PAYPAL, as it cost money to sell bikes here, and I don't want to risk slow pick-up/non-payment. Balance due upon pickup. This is my first e-bay sale, but don't be afraid if I have no feedback. I will work with you. I have found the original handlebars, LH and RH air filters/ boxes, rear grab handle/ signal mount, turn signals, mirrors, taillight w/ broken lens, and various other parts that may or may not be from this bike in a bucket. dust dirt and grime included.
