True Special Order Big Block 1967 Chevy Malibu SS 396 4 Speed Project with all the Factory Extras 99% Complete! Offered is a trully rare find indeed. Offered is a top of the line TRUE Special Order stock 1967 stock Chevy Malibu SS 396 4 Speed with all the original factory extras. Rare special order factory big block Malibu SS according to the decoded vin numbers pictured. Fisher plate info reveals unit came in capri cream with black vinyl top. These original big block Malibu's are disappearing rapidly so here is your chance. This is NOT a rusty wreck. Factory bucket seats pictured. Unit was made in Fremont, California. We found this rarity on a foreclosed property in the middle of the California desert a couple of months ago. This Chevelle Malibu had not been started in many years according to the owner. Plug wires were chewed up by mice. We replaced all plug wires & put some transmission fluid in the spark plug holes. Cleaned OG spark plugs. Then cranked it for about three minutes without starting it. This was to protect the piston rings & seals. Once that was done we then used an electric fuel pump & some fresh gas from OUR own gas tank. Second crank it started & ran. This is not our first rodeo. When I opened the hood I knew right away this was what Chevelle Malibu collectors look for. Includes the following: Factory 396 big block engine pictured. OG Quadro Jet four barrel carburator pictured. Factory gauges pictured. All the factory SS 396 Turbo Jet Malibu emblems which are not pictured is included. Factory Muncie M20 4 speed Transmission. Factory Positract 336 10 bolt rear end pictured. Original SS Malibu factory grill & full aluminum trim package not pictured is included. Door panels are included. Rear panels are not included. We will include a spare straight fender & a box of many spare parts which are not pictured. 99% complete. Virtually no rust issues on both pan & trunk area.
