Bought this car for my son, had it painted, replaced the brakes, had VW expert go through engine. He replaced the fuel pump, carb, plugs, exhaust, motor mounts, ect. The things that need to be done are the window regulators need to be replaced, wipers do not operate and the rear tail lights do not work, they did before it was painted so the more than likely are not connected correctly. To make a long story short my son came home with a Trans Am. The bug is a very nice little car that appears to run well and has a nice interior. Needs to go to someone who will appreciate it. Car will be sold as is with a bill of sale as Georgia does not require titles for cars of this vintage. In addition buyer will pay all shipping fees. No warranty implied. I reserve the right to end the auction early as car is listed locally. On Mar-25-11 at 19:56:42 PDT, seller added the following information: AS I STATED THE CARB WAS REPLACED, WELL JUST FOUND OUT THE NEW CARB IS JETTED INCORRECTLY. MY VW EXPERT TELLS ME HE HAS TO ORDER PARTS WHICH WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS. I WILL NOT SELL THIS CAR UNTIL I KNOW IT IS RIGHT. SINCE THE RESERVE HAS NOT BEEN MET I JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW. IF I HAVE TO RELIST IT THATS FINE WITH ME, AS I SAID I WILL NOT SELL IT UNTIL I KNOW IT IS RIGHT.
