For sale is a very good 1976 F150 4x4. I bought the truck two years ago as a project and have put a lot into it, but it is still not perfect. The power train is GREAT, but the body has small rust spots in the corners the floors are solid though. The bed has rusted through in spots in the front so the previous owner put wood over it. The windshield and dash pad are cracked. The body has some scratches and small dings and paint chips. The power steering return line has a leak. Like I said its not a beauty queen but it runs awesome. The engine is a 390 cid with a 428 4 barrel intake and holley carb. It has new intake gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, donut gaskets, valve cover gaskets, water pump, thermostat housing and thermostat, rotor button and cap, plugs and wires. It keeps good oil pressure. She runs great... and she will run! She sports a NP 435 4-speed transmission mated to a Dana 21 transfer case. Dana 44 high pinion front with a locker and a 9 inch rear, I think 3.50 ratio. Its turning 36.5 inch tires with good tread. It has plenty of get up and go. The front axle was just rebuilt, NEW... inner and outer bearings, races, seals, thrust washers, calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, pass side wheel hub due to a spun outer race, and a bran new pitman arm. The tie rod ends and drag link were in good shape. The truck drives very well considering what it is. It still has a little play though and im sure could stand a rag joint. Very little though. I have driven the truck 130 miles with no problems and wouldn't be scared to go anywhere. I urge bidders to come by and look at the truck in person if possible.
