Vehicle Detail
OK, here goes. I have a super low hour 1980 RM400T. This bike had the original everything when I got it...tires, sprockets, was even on the standard bore. I bet this bike had less than just a few hours on it, if that! Everything has been either powder coated, re-plated, polished, painted, Beautiful bike! I went into the bottom end and found ZERO runout in the crank bearings..everything in the bottom end looked great. Replaced ALL the seals and gaskets. It really didnt need a top end, but I went ahead and put a fresh first over piston (see photo) Buyer will get the orginal piston too. Fork seals were changed, all plastic was replaced. All number plates are O.E.M. Suzuki, fenders are Vintage-Suzuki, and the gas tank is Brand new Clarke...heres the cherry on the sundae! A 5 time world champ "Roger Decoster" autographed 1980 RM400! (see photos) I had a chance at this years Supercross race here in Phoenix to have it signed...on very short notice, nobody but Wes at ENDUROSHACK were able to come through with this brand new tank! Even better than a Babe Ruth signed baseball! This is truly a Museum Quality motorcycle. You're not going to get a bunch of re-produced stickers...this bike has not been out at the local track, while "Ricky Racer" pretends he winning the USGP at Carlsbad..and you're, not gonna get a bunch of wire wheeled or hardware store nuts and bolts...Just a bike that looks like the day it was rolled off the show room floor... or better! Bike runs and shifts great! If your plans are to race it I would suggest a pair of Works performance or similar. The bike has no title, but will provide a "Bill of Sale". I have no problem disassembling for over-seas shipment (for a fee) Bike is sold AS-IS. Buyer will deposit 500.00 USD within 48 hours of auction end, and balance within 7 days, preferrably not through paypal as the fees get costly. If you need more photos or info, please ask. Can provide motorcycle transporters i.e. Collins Logistic Services- 417-655-6529, but there are dozens if googled. Remember, this is a 31 year old motorcycle, so please bid accordingly. There is also a chance that I can get Kenny Zahrt (the test rider for dirtbike magazine who test rode the 1980 RM400) to also sign the tank. Good luck and remember this is a "NO RESERVE" auction that starts at .99! Reserves are silly! http://stores.ebay.com/ENDUROSHACK
