1969 Chevrolet C-50 Flatbed truck with bee boom. Rebuilt 350 gasoline engine with low miles on it. 4 speed manual transmission with 2 speed axle. Blue cab. 20 gallon tank behind the seat and 2 fifty gallon tanks on drivers side. 17 foot flatbed with 5 foot high sideboards. The bee boom on the back needs some welding on the carriage and some new switches. 9.00-20 tires, needs tires. I am not certain how many miles are on the chasis, I think it is around 100K since it was only a seasonal work truck. I bought this truck in the early 1990's from the original owner, a migratory beekeeper who spent winters in California and summers in Wyoming, I put a rebuilt motor in the truck and would guess the motor has less than 6000 miles on it. I sold the truck to my brother a few years later. My brother signed the truck over to our dad in 1997, I did find a photocopy of the old title and the registration paper for the last time it was registered in 1997, registration shows unladen weight of 9740 pounds. Our dad never registered the truck and only used it occassionally around the farm on the west shore of the Salton Sea so my brother was the last registered owner. Our dad passed away in early February and we are cleaning up the property. You will be responsible for moving the truck from the West shore of the Salton Sea, zip 92274. I did check into the back registration on this truck and the California DMV has indicted to me that it will require 3 years back registration and penalties amounting to approximately $2,600 dollars in order to re-register this truck in California, other states may be different.
