Up for sale is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 factory 4speed project car. The restoration on this vehicle has already begun, and needs someone to take it to the finish line. Below will be a list of all the things the car has at this point, and a list of what else the car needs. This is a "NON-RUNNING" project but will not take much to get it going. The car also carries a clean California title and was built in Los Angelas, Ca. and remained in California it's whole life, a true definition of a California car. I have been the owner for the last 4 years trying to get it together. When the Chevelle was purchased it still had the factory paint on it, and has only had 1 repaint that I am aware of. *Data Trim Tag# * ST 70-13637 * TR 755 75 75 * Vin# 136370L123321 * Fresh rebuilt BBC 396 with zero miles (same motor that came in the car when I purchased the vehicle, not sure if its the original motor to the vehicle.) * Mild cam * Fresh rebuilt M22/Rockcrusher manual 4 speed transmission (same transmission that was also in car when purchased) * Fresh rebuilt front & rear suspension (springs, shocks, bushings, etc.) * F-41 suspension * Brand new front & rear sway bars * Factory rebuilt 12 bolt rear end * Eaton posi rear end unit (3:73 gears) * Brand new front & rear bumpers (not installed comes with vehicle to winning bidder) * Brand new interior (carpet, headliner, door panels, front & rear seats, rear deck lid, visors etc) * Rust free Chevelle (frame, quarters, fenders, floors, trunk, all solid and rust free) * Brand new functional cowl induction hood * Body is straight and is ready for prep & paint of your choice color (factory color was a cranberry red w/ black interior according to the data plate) * Brand new brake lines in the front * Also included will be some additional weather stripping for the car * The front & rear window chrome is also included although not pictured in photos I'm sure it's some things i may be missing, but if you have any additional questions please feel free to ask. Now below will be a list of some things that the car still needs to be finished. * The motor still needs to be wired up through the harness ( new wire harness included ) * The motor needs accesories such as (alternator, distributor, starter, pullies, etc.) * Needs exhaust run from manifolds back * Needs prep & paint * Needs exterior locks (passenger, driver, & trunk lid) Like above, i'm quite sure it's things i'm forgetting but please feel free to ask questions as you please. Please remember this is a "NON-RUNNING" vehicle. It needs work and it needs to be finished. Please also ask all questions before the auction ends, and not after the auction. This is a "AS-IS" sale so please bid accordingly. After the end of the auction there will be a $500 "NON-REFUNDABLE" deposit required 24 hours after the end of the auction no exceptions. The buyer will then have 7 days to pay the remaining balance before the car is realeased to the buyer. The buyer is also responsible for any, and all shipping arrangements on this vehicle.
