Vehicle Detail

This was up for auction and I ended the auction because one cannot revise listings, only add to them. As I had two mistakes I did not want conflicting information to create confusion. Low reserve. (*I do apologize, I meant to start the previous auction at $1,000.00*) This is not a rusted out piece of junk that you see people knocking each other down to bid on. It's a car that was a daily driver until it was parked due to the front end damage. It has not been disassembled and partially restored. It does not come in boxes. What you see is what you get. You can drive it home. (we may have to jump it off) In 1996 the car was going down it's original owner's twisting country driveway. The brakes went out. It hit a tree. She backed it up beside the garage and it sat there. I got it a few years ago, removed most of the damaged parts and replaced the master cylinder and *rebuilt* the wheel seals. I occasionally drive it. I don't drive much because as you can see from the picture a non insured dip tried to pass me on the right in a one lane construction area. Minor damage to the passenger's door but it still functions properly. I have the 1997 license plate that was on the car when I got it. It was a dealer conversion from a 3 speed and still has the clutch pedal in it. It has the single diaphragm carb. found on the manual cars still on it. It does not have a downshift (passing gear) cable on it. Being a manual car it does not have the flange on the throttle linkage. It could use a doughnut gasket on the exhaust coming away from the manifold and a muffler. Interior is amazing considering it's age. The original plaid lining is still in the trunk. I put the rubber on it when we brought it here. It's not new but it's dang close! I guesstimate about 2 grand in parts to put the car completely back together. Fender, Hood, Headlight bucket assy, bumper and grill, Fix or buy a new door skin. Fix the small tear in the top of the driver's seat and you have a really nice Mustang for relatively little money.
