1957 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. On a scale of 1-10, I would put this condition at a 7-8. Body is in good condition. There are a few dents caused by a storm, that have been sprayed with primer to prevent rust. There was a small tornado locally about 3 years ago, and the storm collapsed a portable metal carport onto this car. The hood was not latched, and the wind got under the hood, lifted it up, and warped it bad. From what I can tell, the paint is original, and shiny when clean. Car was being driven regularly when the storm did it's damage, and did not have a scratch on it before. It has been sitting for about 3 years now. There is trash in the tank, so I have used a temporary gas tank under the hood for test drives. Car runs smoothly, starts easily, and drives like a....Cadillac. The only missing parts, inside or outside, is the hood emblem. I don't know of anything that will have to be chased down and replaced on this car except the hood and emblem. Interior is velvet, and in good condition. It looks like something Elvis would have owned. This will be a easy restoration, minor body work, no parts to replace, and will be a good investment. Or, clean the gas tank, replace the hood, and drive like it is. Power windows work great, one glass is cracked, but replacement window is in the trunk. There is one small spot of bubbled rust on the passenger side, above the trim. That is all of the rust I can find. Don't let this easy, valuable project get away. Cash will be required upon pickup of car. Alabama is not a title state on vintage vehicles. This car was transferred without a title long ago. I have sold many vintage vehicles both nationally and internationally. I have never had one problem with buyer receiving a notorized bill of sale.
