Just can't seem to afford the prices so many bring ? Does perfect not matter to you ? This might be the right 380 SL for you then. The mileage represented on this vehicle is accurate and Carfax will verify.There is no damage evident on this vehicle though it has been resprayed at some point. The engine on this vehicle is running properly and the transmission shifts ok.All power equipment is functioning properly though the A/C needs a recharge as it only blows cool. Everything does work including the radio and cruise control. Overall the body is in good shape though there are some nicks in the paint not seen in the pictures but no rust. The interior is in great shape for a 173,000 mile 26 year old car and you can see the drivers seat has normal wear and tears. This car does come with both tops though the soft top is shot as you can see. I do see you can purchase a soft new top on Ebay in any color for $350.00. New leather seats seems expensive so I would just put covers on them if I was keeping it. Please note that I do not powerwash engines to hide anything. The engine picture is exactly as it was when I purchased it. The car has sat in my personal garage for a couple days with no visible leaks. The only other things are the front tires needs replacing, the rears are still probably 75% left but the fronts not so good. I might replace them before the sales over but that is NOT included in the auction. There is a spacesaver space which is not factory but it does have one with all the jack and tools to go with it. The brakes stop the car fine but it does pull slightly to the left but not hard. The car had not been driven in months so maybe it just from sitting im not sure. There is a bushing squeak in the front. You can only hear it sometimes but its there. So I would recommend a couple things if you buy this. Front end bushings and alignment (though it does drive straight), oil and trans fluid and filter change and possibly 2 front tires if I haven't changed them already and have the brakes checked. Then I would just drive the heck out of it. Please understand that when I retail anything, I drive the vehicles personally to get a better idea about what they are really about. Some dealers buy and sell cars without ever getting in them but not me, I drive everything I retail which is why I have no problem putting my name on the line. I will post this again and see what happens. This car has a Carfax report that shows the SAME timeline for the miles as the Autocheck program. The only difference is it seems there was a lost or duplicate title issued and this was corrected as I have a clean AZ title with an A box showing ACTUAL MILES, not miles unknown. I might, if i have time, post a picture of the title showing the milage and the A box designation. If you have any questions please call me direct.
