Up for auction is my 2003 VW Passat Turbo. I have owned the car for over 2 years, Maint properly, The only issue Ive ever had with the car was the passenger cv axle. I had the dealership replace both driver and passenger as well as regular scheduled oil change and tire rotation. My wife works at a local casino and this was simply a smart commute car. 35mpg or better. Was taken on 3 family trips with no issues. The car started to idle funny last thursday and became sluggish on take off. She made it to work with no prob, Where I picked the car up and drove it home. I am not a mechanic and cant explain the sluggish take off. This is the first issue ive ever had with the car and Cant afford to have it looked at. The vw dealer suggested i bring it in while they charge 175.00 just to hook it to there machine. When I told them I didnt want to drive it , They said they could help me with that too. Only another 115.00 dollars for towing. Im moving on. My wife wants an suv. The title is clear. Kelly blue book and Nada put the value at between 5300 and 7100. This car is loaded minus leather. Sunroof, Power windows, doors, locks, remote entry, Premium sound. Has lifetime warranty on the 7month old window tint. I paid cash for the car and its been nice not having a car note, But Im selling this to put cash down on something. The Chevy dealership here in Biloxi offered 2390.00 cash or trade . The car is clean , the inside is as nice as the outside. no dents, or dings. With the car being valued at around 5900 I wasnt going to give it away without a fight. I may be interested in Chevy Tahoe or Yukon, Chevy or Gmc Trucks if you have something along those lines . Delivery may be an option depending upon distance for a minimal fee. Negotiable! The car will crank to drive onto a trailer but untill the hesitation is diagnosed, I wouldnt attempt any distance. Great deal for someone. It is a very powerful 4cyl car.
