A friend of mine came to me needing money again and I bought this pickup from him. It is a project truck that he was in the middle of, and he ran out of money. I am not wanting to mess with it, so I'm putting it on here and it's going to sell. This is a 1967 1 ton truck that has had the suspension removed and a 1/2 ton truck installed, thereby giving it a heavier frame than the half ton. My buddy then removed the flatbed off the back and removed the entire interior which he started to paint and detail, but it is not finished. I set the seats back in it, but they are not bolted down, and the definitely need to be recovered--as you can see from the pictures. As it stands right now, I will say that nothing works on this truck because he hasn't finished hooking things up. I do know that he bought a rebuilt motor and installed it in the truck behind that he put a new clutch pressure plate kit and a car 4-speed transmission. The rear end and front suspension is out of a '73 Chevy 1/2 ton. He tells me that the motor will fire over and run good with a battery in it, but I have not started the motor. The battery box was moved behind the cab inside of the frame rails. There is no radiator and it needs a lot of work to put this back together. There's no bed on the back of it, but the cab and fenders and frame rails all are completely rust-free and solid. This truck is going to require a lot of work to put it back in running condition, but when it's finished, should be a very nice truck. But again, I'm selling this "as-is" and "where-is". The glass in the back window has several cracks in it, but the rest of the glass aside from some overspray, looks good. It has and Edelbrock intake manifold and carbeurator on it. It should be a fun project. I'll start the bidding at what I gave him for the truck and however much above that it goes is up to you.
