Vehicle Detail
For sale my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I am the original owner. I purchased it locally in Feb of 2006. I am a "Jeep Guy" I have owned a 97 Sahara, 00 Sahara, 03 Rubicon and this 06 Rubicon. I am selling because I am getting a new Rubicon and don't wish to have the dealer screw me on a trade. My Rubi is in great shape. I have driven it daily for 5 years so it is lightly worn. Perfect mechanical shape. No issues at all mechanically. I change my oil every 4,000 miles. Brakes were changed 5,000 miles ago. Soft top is a few weeks old and is perfect. The only addition to my jeep is that I have added a 2nd sound bar above the driver/passengers head. If you are familiar with 97-06 Wranglers the speakers in the dash are worthless at hiway speeds with the top down. I have added a 2nd sound bar to all of my jeeps and the sound is great going topless. No body danage at all. The tires are over 2 yaers old and there is prob 40% tread left. I'm guessing they will be good for another year. They are mud tread and they sound like it. Just FYI. It is a Jeep :-) The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon features locking front and rear differentials, front and rear Dana model 44 axles and a 4:1 low range transfer case in response to the most demanding off-road enthusiasts. Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has locking differentials that can be driver actuated when the transfer case is in low range and the vehicle speed is less than 10MPH. A dash-mounted rocker switch allows the driver to lock the rear axle and toggle the front axle locker on and off for improved maneuvering. A pneumatic pump runs at five pounds per square inch for a more reliable and quieter system. This mechanically locks the axle shafts together to drive all four wheels at the same speed. When not locked, the rear axle has a torque-sensing limited slip feature to provide better traction and handling on-road. Dana model 44 axles with 4.10:1 ratios for both front and rear provide the durability and strength needed for extreme off-road driving. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon features as standard the 4.0-liter PowerTechâ„¢ I-6 mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Also available with an automatic transmission, the 4.0-liter engine is rated at 190 horsepower at 4,600 rpm and 235 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,200 rpm. A transfer case with 4:1 low range slows vehicle speed down to give the driver more control and increases the amount of torque available at the wheels. This fixed-output NVG241OR transfer case was engineered specifically for the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon to meet the demanding durability requirements of an intense off-road vehicle. Also for that reason, this package includes heavy-duty drive shafts with 1330 universal joints. So here is the only issue: Windshield is cracked. I can be changed for $200 but I am waiting to see how it sells before doing that(See Pics). At the reserve price I won't be fixing it. More than reserve I can have it changed at my cost. So in closing I have mentioned the 1 flaw and the Jeep is in wonderful condition. Drives as good as it looks. Buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery. I will meet within 100 miles of N.W. Arkansas. I might go further to Texas for deliver. Oh ya. It's a six speed manual with the in-line strait engine. My bank Arvest of Springdale Arkansas holds the title. If the buyer comes to pick this up you can go to the bank with me. If you arent close and having delivered I will go to my bank and make payoff the day I recieve your funds and title will be sent to you. I can produce a bill of sale as well.
