1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible This car has been in my immediate family since the '80s. It was my daily driver from '93-'95, and has sat in a storage unit since then. It needed a lot of work back in '95, so it's essentially a restoration project. The transmission has been swapped out so it is not a "matching numbers" car. To get it drivable, it requires new brakes and transmission work at the very least. The engine starts easily and runs. I'll post a video later. There are tears in the rotting top and areas of rust in the wheelwells. There are a dents and scrapes, and I will post pictures showing all of this. The car was originally yellow, but I had it painted blue in '94. I have a black replacement top (still in the boxes) that I bought the same year, but never installed. Made by ARO Manufacturing, West Newton, Massachusetts. I think I ordered it out of JC Whitney. There are new NAPA sensatrac shocks and springs that were purchased in 2004 and never installed. Anyone can see this car in person, just contact me via ebay. The auction winner will need to make a $500 deposit through paypal immediately following the auction. It'll be the buyer's responsibility to transport the car. I'm not going to store the car for the buyer.. one week seems like a reasonable amount of time to come get it. I'll need a cashier's check for the remainder of the selling price to clear before I release the vehicle. I'll get the pictures and video up tomorrow. Thanks!
