Vehicle Detail
Thank you for looking at this beautiful 1992 Toyota Pickup. I purchased this from a lot in North Carolina in 2009. The frame looks almost brand new. You can still see some of the numbers printed on the frame from the factory. The body was rust free when I purchased it, but the bed had a few dings in it and the hood was flaking. I had a local body shop do the body work and repaint it. They did a great job. I also have the original radio/tape deck and the original owners manual. It currently has a Sony cd/mp3 player with a 3.5mm audio jack. Automatic transmission works smooth and has tons of power. Lock in hubs work freely and four wheel drive system works well. Toyota jack and original tool kit are included I will list all the new parts which I had a local shop install for me. I have shop receipts for parts and labor. *5/18/09 New spark plugs/wires. New shocks front and rear. New muffler and exhaust pipe from catalytic converter back. Overload coil springs on rear. 2,000 lb capacity. *8/5/09 A/C system seal kit and Ground cable replaced. *10/1/09 Body work and repaint. (I also coated the bed with rust-o-lem before reinstalling the bed liner) *3/5/10 Cooling fan bearing and timing belt replaced. *4/9/10 4 New tires. 31x10.5 R15 Nexen AT (less than 4,000 miles) *5/25/10 New thermostat and gasket. *6/3/10 New Idler Arm. Sway bar link kit. Ceramic brake pads and new calipers on front. *12/21/10 Complete top end engine rebuild with engine removed and checked. Block in great shape. Head gasket was the culprit. -Head gasket set. EGR valve. Thermostat. Spark Plugs. Timing Belt. Heads pressure checked and surfaced. Valve job. Intake valve. Oil change. *1/18/11 Heater Core. *Over $6,000 worth of parts and body work since May 2009. I have driven this everyday since the engine rebuild and had the oil changed on Friday 1/28/11. Now, There are one or two things that need fixed. *The warm/cold air control valve that directs warm coolant to the heater core has a broken nipple. The control valve has been bypassed so warm air blows. This should be fixed before summer. (Picture included) *The bright light switch is a bit temperamental and does not work much of the time. The bright lights work as you can pull back on the switch and flash the bright lights. However, when you push the switch forward, sometimes they come on, sometimes they are delayed a few seconds, but more times than not they do not come on. *There are two rust spots on the body (pictures) two spots on the front bumper (pictures) two spots on the rear bumper(pictures) and two dents on the rear bumper (pictures). All rust spots are superficial and should be a very easy fix. There are a few scratches and a couple of chips in the paint, but are so small I could not get a picture of them and none are to the metal. *The front side driver seat has a tear in it but I have seat covers made for the bench seat. *Glove compartment has a couple of scratches on it. (pictures) *Front driver side park light lens is cracked. (pictured) *Small bit of chrome peeling above driver side head light. (pictured) *Washer fluid cap is cracked. All things are listed to the best of my knowledge and I will try my best to answer all questions you may have. You are also more than welcome to arrange a test drive and inspection before auction end. Truck will need to be picked up with-in two weeks of auction end and I require a $500 PayPal deposit within three days of auction end. Payment can be made by cash or a cashiers check upon pickup. I really hate to sell this truck, but have found a Toyota Tercel that I purchased and have too many vehicles now. Someone is going to get an awesome Toyota that needs very little to be perfect. Thanks again for looking. Blessings. Added 1/31/11 I also installed a brand new battery after the rebuild...$70 value.
